Prestressed steel wires ,made from quality high carbon steel wire rods ,is commonly used in pc strands in China .Regarding different aspects ,the steel wires can be divided into kinds .
¶ Diameter or size : 4mm, 4.8mm, 5.0mm, 5.1mm, 6.0mm, 6.25mm, 7.0mm, 7.8mm, 8.0mm, 9.0mm, 9.5mm, 10.0mm, 11mm, 12mm
¶High tensile strength : 1470MPa, 1570MPa, 1670MPa, 1770MPa and 1860MPa;
¶Surface coating :uncoated ,zincl or galvanized steel wire ;
¶Surface form : plain ,spiral rib (helical grooved ) and indented with 2 sides or 3 sides ;
¶Treatment process :cold drawning (no relaxation requirement ) and low relaxation ;
¶ Application :widely used in railroad sleepers ,stay cables bridges ,prestressing concrete poles ,steel tube arch bridge tie rods ,suspension bridge cables and building units .
