Product DescriptionThe explosion welding layered dis-similar metals clad plate is combined and processed by the explosion welding, and it is widely used in the construction and manufacturing of the pressure vessel, heat exchanger, reactor, various tanks, etc.
In order to get resistance to the corrosion, heat or wearing, the stainless steel (titanium,nickel &nickel alloy, copper& copper alloy,etc) cladding materials is explosively welded to the relatively inexpensive carbon steel. One side, the clad plate has the sufficient strength to the high pressure (base materials), on the other side, the clad plate has the excellent resistance performance to the heat and corrosion (cladding materials), what is more, the clad plate can decrease the construction cost.
The bonding quality between the dissimilar metals is strong enough to keep away from debonding or any external stress such as heat, bending, vibration or hard impact.
The thickness ratio of base metal to cladding metal is basically on the requirement of design and application, generally, the ratio 3:1 or more is recommended, others thickness ratio is also available upon negotiation.
